When we decided to “downsize”, a move to a run down concrete barn was not what we had in mind but having seen that two such barns were to be converted by Andy and his team at Mexhome in Martlesham close to Woodbridge we investigated. We were impressed from the start at the design and superb workmanship throughout, the once concrete pillared building took shape and a stunning barn conversion evolved.
The attention to detail is impressive and the building has changed into a spacious, elegant, open plan, three bedroomed house. The once dingy concrete pillars are now smart Ashpalt coloured beams and set against the white of the lofty walls, the whole appearance is unique. The once dry bit of back garden is now turning into a lovely colourful space, not so large as to be daunting but big enough to keep us busy and interested.
So well done Mexhomes on another fantastic barn conversion and congratulations to all those who made it such a stunning outcome.

love the combination of traditional rustic Suffolk building and contemporary interior. We bought our barn as an occasional holiday home, but it is the love of our life and we are there every other weekend. In no small way because of it, we have decided to move to Suffolk when we stop working. And when we do, and need a bigger place, would love to move into another Mex Homes barn.
